Massage therapy does much more than reduce stress. It also works on the soft tissues (the muscles, tendons, and ligaments) to improve muscle tone and break up scar tissue. Our therapist have advanced certification in sports, massage, neuromuscular therapy and lymphatic drainage. Massage therapy stimulates blood circulation and assists the lymphatic system (which runs parallel to the circulatory system), improving the elimination of waste throughout the body. Regular massage can have the effect of strengthening and toning the entire body. We can also provide relaxation massage which can calm the nervous system. At its best, massage therapy has the potential to restore the individual physically, mentally, and spiritually.
