GET AN EVALUATION. Florida state law requires that you receive an evaluation by a doctor or chiropractor within 14 days of the car accident or you will lose all your medical benefits to receive injury treatment.

Most people think that they do not need to seek medical attention if they are not experiencing immediate pain. A minor accident or “fender bender” with no damage to your vehicle still may cause an injury. Pain from an auto accident injury (neck and/or back pain) may not be felt until two to three weeks after the collision. Chiropractic care and physical therapy are some of the best conservative options available today to treat auto accident injuries. Oviedo Injury and Wellness Center is a full-service auto injury recovery clinic that offers the most state-of-the-art treatment. Chiropractic care is great at reducing pain and inflammation, preventing surgery as well as any future injuries from occurring. The healing effects of chiropractic care are amplified when combined with physical therapy. Physical therapy improves your range of motion, helps support the injured region and reduces your chance of long-term damage due to car accident injuries.
